In the Heart of the City

As you can see from the integrated Google map below, Via Nazionale is one of Rome city centre’s principal roads and puts you in the heart of the city with easy access to everything either on foot or using public transport. Piazza della Repubblica, the Trevi Fountain, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum are all within easy walking distance of the Hotel Cortina Rome, while Repubblica Metro Station at the top of Via Nazionale is your gateway to the rest of the city. Numerous buses also pass the hotel, covering every part of Rome.

Public Transports

Airport Transfer: Hotel Cortina Rome offers an extremely competitive Airport Transfer Service, simply leave a not in the Additional Comments box when you book online to enquire.

Leonardo Express Train: The Leonardo Express takes you directly from Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport to Termini Station.

SITA/Shuttlebus: Several coach companies operate from Ciampino Airport in conjunction with Ryan Air and Easyjet flights - don’t buy your tickets on the plane though, it’s cheaper outside the Airport!

Directions from Termini Train Station

Taxis: A taxi with luggage should be less than €15, though we advise you to be extremely vigilant when dealing with local taxi drivers.

On Foot: Alternatively, doing the journey on foot will take about 10 minutes.

Buses: Dozens of buses leave Piazza dei Cinquecento at the front of the station and come down Via Nazionale - simply check the route on the sign at the bus stop.
